SMU is a struggling team, who recently lost to Tulsa at the buzzer, a team that Tulane beat in overtime. SMU didn’t score in the first four and a half minutes of the game against Tulane.

Tulane gave up the lead at the 12 minute mark and didn’t regain it until the last two minutes of the half. However Vianney’s amazing save and Gomez’s in and out and finally in, three point shot gave Tulane the lead going into the locker room.

SMU is shooting 47.8% in the first half, while Tulane is only shooting 36.7%.

Tulane is doing a good job not sending SMU to the line. SMU is 2-2 at the line in their only trip there this half. Tulane is 5-8 at the charity stripe.

Gomez leads all scorers with 13 points.

0.12- 0.0 Vianney almost knocks over at the press table as he saves the ball and tosses it to Gomez who’s three bounces in and out of the basket before finally going in as the buzzer to end the half sounds. Tulane takes the lead into the locker room 29-27.
